DESCRIPTION:Purpose\nThe Ontario Association of School Business Officials (OASBO) brings together dedicated professionals who are committed to collaborative development\, sharing and promotion of leading business practices in the support of our students. \nObjectives\nAs a professional association\, OASBO will: \n\nFacilitate information sharing throughout OASBO.\n\n\nOptimize operational processes within OASBO.\n\n\nPromote\, encourage and facilitate learning at all opportunities.\n\n\nCollaborate with new and existing partnerships to ensure that business objectives of members and their boards are best served.\n\n\nGenerate and foster sustainable awareness of OASBO amongst internal and external stakeholders.\n\nIn addition we\n\nProvide school business Professional Development through workshops conferences and annual meetings.\n\n\nPromote and Strengthen Education in school business management through the development of course and programs internally\, and in conjunction with external educational institutions and associations.\n\n\nPromote Efficiency in school business operations and encourage research in related areas\nEnhance the professional status of our members.\n\n\nAdvise and Assist the various Ministries of the provincial Government and other organizations in promoting the interest and management of the education systems in Ontario.\n\n  \nPlease reach out to Kristine Lemire if you’re interested in attending: kristine.lemire@convergetp.com
