The start of a new year is often a time of simultaneous reflection and anticipation. We spend time giving thanks for and looking back on the months behind us, while also pushing forward to the year ahead and setting goals for what is to come. As I look back on 2022, I feel both proud of the immense amount of growth and achievement Converge had last year and am eager to see what we will accomplish together in 2023.
The years before now have been challenging at times. It’s no secret that 2020 and 2021 brought hardship to each of us, both personally and professionally, as we worked to pivot and manage our personal lives while doing the same for the business each day. However, those years also showed the grit and perseverance of the Converge team, which served as a shining light driving us into a positive future. For me, 2022 finally felt like we’d reached that brightness we’d created at the end of the tunnel. It was invigorating to be back in-person with clients, partners, peers, and friends at meetings across the globe and at many of our long awaited Converge events. The last twelve months truly felt like a year of reconnection, with many of the bonds we’d formed virtually finally becoming concretely personal. This kind of collaboration holds an impact I do not think can be underestimated, and I truly look forward to continuing these interactions and relationships in 2023.
2022 was also a year of massive expansion for Converge. After taking the brand worldwide in 2021, we were determined to further our global foothold last year, starting with the acquisition of twelve new organizations spanning across North America, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Additionally, we continued to build and sustain our partner and industry relationships, achieving notable recognitions such as the CRN Triple Crown Award, Ingram Micro North America Cloud Reseller Partner of the Year, Pure Storage Advantage Partner of the Year, Cisco Multiple Region Partner of the Year, and Dell Canada Partner Award for Data Center Solutions. Finally, we continued to invest in our solutions and services to best serve our clients, expanding our capabilities across the board with room to grow and invest in 2023.
With the continued loyalty of our clients, ongoing collaboration of our partners, and a strongly united Converge team, 2023 is poised to be yet another year of exemplary growth. In the spirit of renewed connection, we’re looking forward to another year of gathering together at our expanded annual conference – Converge Global Summit 2023 – which will bring together our partners and Converge teammates from around the globe. This time to gather as one brand, one team, and one company always ignites our drive and places a renewed emphasis on our continued commitment to our clients and our ability to execute on our services-led, software-enabled focus.
If there is one thing 2022 has taught me and that this year has already begun to prove, it is that our people are our strength and Converge is the best IT solution provider in the industry. The last five years of Converge has brought forth so many achievements, they are almost too numerous to count. Yet, each one was made possible by our team and the incredible work we do together each day. I am beyond grateful for our employees, partners, and clients and continually appreciate all we accomplish together. Here’s to another year of growth and greatness in 2023, and, as always, knowing we are #BetterTogether.
