As the celebrations of the holiday season wrap up and we step into the excitement of 2024, there’s an annual buzz in the air of the start of a new year and the untapped opportunities to come. It’s no coincidence that most of us spend the latter part of the previous year celebrating the culmination of months past and setting goals for the new days ahead. As we begin another new year at Converge, I am so proud of what this team has accomplished, and I’m certain 2024 will be one of our best years yet.
Whenever I tell our story from the start, it must be mentioned that Converge has historically been a company focused on growth by acquisition. From our founding to the start of 2023, we grew at a groundbreaking pace. Converge acquired 35 companies over the course of six years and welcomed thousands of new employees into the Converge family. This past year, however, we took a step back and did things a little differently. The pause in acquisitions allowed us to be more strategic and put a focus on organic growth, as well as our global transformation and integration into one Converge name, brand, and team. I’m proud to see how our employees have embraced the challenges and triumphs of 2023, while keeping our core mentality of going to market with Converge’s ever-expanding solutions and services, driving organic growth, and sharing the Converge brand across the world. Our focus on client and employee excellence is what has made us successful and what will continue to be our backbone as we move into this coming year. Growing from a company of just a few hundred to a few thousand is no small feat. Yet, due to the incredible drive, attitude, and camaraderie I’ve seen from every Converge employee, we’ve created a culture I’m proud to continue into 2024.
As we look to set the tone of what this coming year will bring, I would be remiss to not mention the excitement in the air around our annual Converge Global Summit, happening in just a few short weeks. There’s no better place than our yearly coming together as one global organization of partners, peers, and teammates to truly feel the Converge spirit, as we connect and collaborate both in-person and virtually – highlighting our 2023 successes, outlining our 2024 strategy, and expanding on our Converge vision for the future. This is where we lay the foundation for the upcoming year, igniting our drive to build on our achievements and execute on our AIM (advise, implement, manage) strategy of being a trusted advisor with our clients on a daily basis and driving meaningful business outcomes.
As we say goodbye to 2023 and jump into 2024, I couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come or proud of where we’ve been and what we’ve accomplished together. Thank you to our partners, our customers, and our employees. You are our strength and the reason we have been able to celebrate so many achievements together over the years. The sky is the limit, and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish next.
