Shaun Maine is the Group CEO of Converge Technology Solutions. As Group CEO of Converge, Shaun is responsible for leading overall vision, strategy, and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to his role as Group CEO, Shaun was the COO of Pivot Technology Solutions (“Pivot”), a US $1.5 billion revenue value-added reseller listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, and was part of the founding group that acquired and integrated five value-added resellers. Shaun is a graduate of Queens University and has been named one of Channel Daily News’ Top 5 Newsmakers of 2019.
Greg Berard is Converge’s Global President & CEO who is responsible for leading the organization’s sales, marketing, and engineering teams across North America. His focus areas include helping teams cross-sell and driving growth & strategy with sales and technical leaders around Converge’s core solution areas. Greg’s experience in analytics, cloud, and security is essential as Converge continues to deepen our value and thought leadership with clients and strategic partners. Previously serving as President of Lighthouse Computer Services, Greg helped substantially grow the business by increasing its capabilities in core technical disciplines and broadening its reach into new expertise. Prior to his tenure at Converge, Greg spent over a decade as a software executive with IBM in a number of positions across the globe. An avid ice hockey fan, Greg played and captained his team at the collegiate level, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College in Wellesley, MA.
Cory Reid is Chief Operations Officer at Converge Technology Solutions and globally responsible for delivering oversight and overall post-acquisition integration of newly acquired Converge businesses. This includes the coordination of communications, synergies, technologies, sales operations, and back office. Cory is also responsible for planning and consolidating Finance, HR, IT, and Operations on a regional support basis across the North American footprint of hybrid IT services providers. With extensive experience in the technology sector, Cory has a deep breadth of knowledge and skill that includes diverse roles such as co-founder of a web startup, Fortune 100 software architect, and C-suite executive at a $2 billion technology services organization. Cory earned his Bachelor of Computer Science from Dalhousie University.
John G. Teltsch is Chief Revenue Officer for Converge. With more than 40 years of international leadership experience in the IT industry, John is responsible for oversight of profit alignment, revenue-related functions across the organization, and execution of Converge’s global strategy. Prior to joining Converge, John spent four decades in various leadership roles at IBM, including leading the company’s Partner Ecosystem worldwide and serving as General Manager of Technology Sales across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America, where he brought together IBM Hardware Systems, Cloud & Cognitive Software, and Technology Support Services to accelerate the journey to Open Hybrid Cloud and AI for clients.
John holds his Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Spring Hill College. He lives in Connecticut with his wife where he enjoys tennis, biking, and reading.
Julianne Belaga is Chief Legal Officer for Converge. In her role, Julianne serves as a member of Converge’s executive leadership team, advising on a wide variety of legal matters affecting the business and managing all legal aspects of the Company’s global M&A activities. During the course of her career, Julianne has led numerous acquisitions throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Prior to joining Converge, Julianne served as General Counsel for several technology companies based in the U.S., including IT VARs and cloud solution providers. Julianne also served as Vice President and General Counsel, Corporate Services for Avent, Inc., where her primary focus was on global mergers and acquisitions and managing the legal functions for Avnet’s procurement, IT, HR, marketing and similar shared services organizations. Julianne received her BA from New York University and her JD from Emory University School of Law.
Avjit Kamboj is the Chief Financial Officer of Converge, responsible for all finance functions and investor relations. Avjit has more than 16 years of leadership experience in capital markets, strategic acquisitions, and international markets. Previously, Avjit was Chief Financial Officer of Dye & Durham where he played an important role in helping Dye & Durham prepare and execute its IPO and execute on acquisition growth strategy.
Avjit was also the Managing Director at KAM Consulting Services Inc., a boutique finance advisory firm providing senior finance executive advisory services. Before founding KAM Consulting in 2016, Avjit held a series of progressing management roles at Honeywell Aerospace, Canadian Solar, MDA Corporation and Deloitte. Avjit is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CA), US Certified Public Accountant (Illinois) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
As Vice President of People Operations, Rhonda Hanes is responsible for directing and supporting all HR initiatives and administration for all Converge employees. Rhonda oversees employee activities and leads HR practices that provide an employee-oriented culture emphasizing teamwork, communication, and growth. Rhonda is also responsible for the recruitment and ongoing development of a healthy and empowered workforce. Over the past ten years she has also helped to create the Leadership Development Program for Corus360 (Emerge360), GRIT (Girls Rule IT), and Toastmasters programs.
As a dedicated and driven marketing leader, Karie focuses on delivering brand vision, digital communication strategies, and marketing operations. She fulfills this is by envisioning, packaging, and presenting innovative ideas via a web-first publishing approach to execute on integrated marketing campaigns. Prior to Converge, Karie held various marketing leadership roles within the IT industry where her responsibilities included marketing management, branding & awareness, sales enablement, business & event planning, and building relationships with partners and customers.
Don Cuthbertson is the CEO of Portage CyberTech. Before joining Converge, Don served as Chief Data Officer at Pivot Technology Solutions, where he led the organization’s diligence team on acquisitions and implementation of the business’ integration plans. Don was additionally responsible for outlining urgent value-creation opportunities, identifying key value drivers, and creating roadmaps to improvements. Don earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University.
Sean Colicchio is the Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Converge. In this role, he is responsible for Converge’s physical and digital security and the identification and mitigation of risks within the organization. As a professionally trained expert in offensive security and risk analysis with years of experience in information and network security, Sean has a strong familiarity with ISO, NIST, FFIEC, NCUA, and HIPAA/HITECH standards as well as PCI, GDPR and other industry and regulatory compliance requirements. He also possesses a solid understanding of application security best practices for product development. Prior to his role as Global CISO, Sean previously led Converge’s Cybersecurity practice, where he was able to couple his experience with other threat intelligence and risk management professionals to provide secure risk management guidance to organizations regardless of size or sector.
Executive Management Team
Vic Verola is a 30-year veteran of the Information Technology Industry. Vic is currently Executive Vice President of Sales for Converge’s North America Operation. Vic is responsible for leading the North America’s sales organization, sales strategy, and business development. Vic was formerly co-owner and President of Vicom Computer Services, which was acquired by Converge in December 2020. Following the acquisition, Vic ran Converge’s Northeast operation, was promoted to Executive Vice President of US Sales, and most recently promoted to run North America Sales. Vic graduated from Hofstra University with a major in management and a minor in economics. Vic lives on Long Island with his wife Lupita and three children Danielle, Vic Jr., and Tony. His interests include photography, hockey, and technology. Vic also chairs the board of directors at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island, one of the largest and most effective mentoring organizations on Long Island.
David is an accomplished and visionary business leader, serving as the Executive Vice President responsible for Strategy and Solutions at Converge. With a 25-year background leading sales, technical, and professional services teams, David has consistently driven the organization’s growth and success through innovation and strategic thinking.
David oversees the go-to-market strategy, engineering, key partner relationships, and professional services execution for the advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, application modernization, cloud, and cybersecurity practices. His insightful approach to strategic planning and ability to identify key growth opportunities have been instrumental in driving the company’s success with our clients, expansion into new markets, and solidifying its position as an industry leader.
David is also the executive sponsor for Converge’s IBM and Google partnerships. David holds his bachelor of science degree in engineering from Cornell University and an MBA in Finance and Investments from Baruch College.
Emily is passionate about helping customers leverage technology to solve complex problems. Over 18 years she has built her career at Northern Micro (NM). Taking on the Sales and Technology strategy in 2013, Emily evolved and grew NM’s end-user led business into an edge, to core to cloud Hybrid IT practice. Promoted to President in 2019, she continues to focus on making innovative technologies work for our customers. Outside of her role at NM Emily is an active member of a numerous partner advisory boards.
Greg Rhoades is Chief Technology Officer (US) for Converge. Greg joined Converge in January 2019 as part of the Company’s acquisition of Software Information Systems (SIS), where he served in a similar role. As CTO, Greg’s responsibilities include overall organizational technical oversight, defining strategic technical vision, partnerships, growth opportunities, and thought leadership regarding market direction for Converge. Greg has 20+ years of extensive, hands-on experience delivering complex IT solutions in industries spanning process control, scientific research, education, financial services, and transportation management. Prior to joining Converge, Greg held various technical leadership positions at Westinghouse, John Hancock, JP Morgan, and Data Cave. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Purdue University.
With 30 years’ technology experience focused on driving revenue for new solutions in both direct and indirect sales models, Rochelle successfully leads as Converge’s VP of Cloud Platforms. Rochelle has a proven track record of delivering exponential growth in the first two years of developing new lines of business. She previously served as VP of Sales, Global Accounts at CBTS/OnX Enterprise Solutions, where she built a successful revenue stream derived from professional and re-occurring services through the adoption of emerging technologies for a Fortune 100 Financial Services company.
As VP of App Modernization for Converge, Andrew is responsible for leading Converge’s Hybrid Cloud and DevOps practice. This encompasses business development, marketing, sales execution, project delivery, and building strategic partnerships, including Red Hat. Andrew leads a team of sellers and engineers focused on helping clients adopt a hybrid multi-cloud approach. He also directs teams to manage applications and resources across mixed environments to enable greater flexibility, automation, and application modernization. Andrew has 10+ years’ experience in the technology sector, with many years spent with IBM and Lighthouse Computer Services in various sales and leadership positions.
Sohil Merchant is VP of Digital Infrastructure and Digital Workplace for Converge. In this role, Sohil leads Converge’s Digital Infrastructure and Digital Workplace strategies, focusing on business development, marketing, sales execution, project delivery, and strategic partnerships. He is also Converge’s Executive Sponsor for Microsoft and VMware. Sohil has 20+ years of executive experience in building both high performing teams, as well as architecting and supporting global enterprises. Prior to Converge, he held titles that included Practice Director at Accudata and Director of Professional Services & Director of Business Transformation at Netsync Network Solutions. Sohil has also served in executive leadership roles at Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, and Stanford Financial.
Cari Hash is Vice President of Global Integration & Deployment Services, North America for Converge. A highly experienced sales and technology leader with 20+ years in the technology and solution provider arena, she is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s Global Integration & Deployment Services (GIDS) practice, including alignment with the sales organization, practice education, and leading the delivery of configuration services for clients throughout North America. Previously, Cari served as SVP of Enterprise Sales at Converge after her tenure as President of MDSi where she was responsible for the company’s overall strategy, strategic execution, revenue, and operational organization. Cari also served in the US Army as a Military Intelligence Linguist (Airborne). She obtained her degree from Methodist University in Fayettville, NC and is a WIT Executive Readiness Graduate.
Michael Heuberger serves as Global Leader, Managed Services for Converge and is responsible for the Company’s Managed Services business worldwide. Prior to joining Converge, Michael was Co-Founder of ExactlyIT. Previously, Michael held the role of CEO & President of Freudenberg IT (FIT), where his vision led the company to becoming a $100 Million Managed Service Provider for business-critical applications. Michael’s experience also includes various management positions at Infor Global Solutions, where he was responsible for developing core Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Professional Services, and Product Management.
Michael began his career in Machine Engineering and Electronics and strongly believes in robust and functionally sound, but manageable, IT solutions. Standards, compliance, automation, and client satisfaction are the primary drivers of his day-to-day work. Together with his team, Michael enjoys combining the experience he has earned during his career with client projects to create attractive products and services for Converge.
Shaun Bertrand is Vice President of Cybersecurity for Converge, where he applies his 20+ years of experience in the information security field to lead our expert security solution and service teams. His background and proficiency spans across all cybersecurity disciplines, and his focus on client outcomes power Converge’s commitment to delivering skilled, effective, and innovative protection for data, users, and brands. Shaun is an energetic information security executive known for delivering exceptional customer service and proactively mitigating cyber threats. He has years of experience building engaged teams with a strong record of delivering high-value security services. He creates vision for security programs aligned with strategic business objectives to position organizations for long-term success.
Shaun has experience teaching security classes at various universities, including the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University. He also maintains a seat on various graduate advisory boards and councils. Shaun is a frequent speaker at security conferences and local hacking groups. He is a member of the Michigan Cyber Civilian Corp (MiC3), Founder and President of the Grand Traverse ISSA chapter, and has also been recognized as a Ponemon distinguished fellow.
David Pacific is Vice President of Advanced Analytics for Converge. In this role, he is primarily responsible for a team of technical consultants who are in the field developing scalable enterprise solutions and supporting clients along their analytics journey. With 15+ years of experience in the delivery of complex data and analytics solutions through the entire project lifecycle, David has an extensive understanding of data, from source to integration to governance to visualization. He also provides thought leadership to current and prospective clients spanning a multitude of analytic platforms and enjoys strategic conversations around the integration of tools, as well as supporting customers in finding the most appropriate holistic and scalable solutions given their business needs. David graduated from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, Emphasis in Business.
Elizabeth Herrera is Vice President of Advanced Analytics for Converge. In this role, she oversees sales and operations for Converge’s Advanced Analytics practice, leading a team of talented professionals who support clients with their analytics, data management, application development & AI initiatives. With 20+ years of experience, Elizabeth is highly skilled in understanding and finding solutions for clients’ business problems and providing strategic guidance on business transformation through the use of data and analytics. Previously, Elizabeth served in roles ranging across the entire ecosystem, ranging from client to vendor to the channel. She holds her Master of Science from the University of Rochester and her Bachelor of Science from Rochester Institute of Technology, along with having completed Doctoral Coursework at the University at Albany, SUNY. In her downtime, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family at home in Upstate New York.
Fiona Bergin is Vice President of Global Transformation at Converge. In this role, she provides strategic direction and leadership to cross-functional teams that ensures seamless transitions through the integration process. With 15+ years of experience and a proven track record in leading integration and transformation for 40+ companies throughout her career, Fiona has been responsible for designing and implementing Converge’s Integration and Transformation best practices and guiding the organization through complex changes. Fiona graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Mathias Harms is Managing Director at the “Gesellschaft für digitale Bildung” (GfdB) and has more than 25 years of experience in IT services. GfdB specializes in providing modern, complete IT solutions for schools and educational institutions, with the aim of advancing digitalization in the education sector. GfdB’s product portfolio includes technical support and IT consulting, a comprehensive training program for teachers and school administrators, and digital equipment for schools and educational institutions. Mathias Harms has been active as a managing partner in the IT sector since 1996.
Barbara Weitzel is CEO of REDNET GmbH and serves on the Converge Executive Management team. Having previously held various system integrator roles, Barbara founded REDNET GmbH in 2004 with a specific focus on serving public companies and clients. With 30+ years’ experience working in Germany’s IT sector, Barbara is a proven technology professional with specific expertise in Germany’s public sector.
Simon Harbridge is Chief Executive Officer of Stone Technologies Group, A Converge Company. As CEO of Stone, he is responsible for leading the company’s overall vision, strategy, and development. Prior to becoming CEO in 2012, Simon served as CFO for Stone for seven years, was CFO at Andrews Sykes Group plc, and helped found Longville Group, a venture capital backed international buy and build services platform. Simon is an engineering graduate of Birmingham University and is qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG.
Board of Directors
Thomas Volk is a non-independent Director and Chair of the Board. Mr. Volk is a senior executive with extensive experience leading global SaaS enterprises and mid-market companies and managing software and consulting companies worldwide. He was previously the President and CEO of CANCOM SE, Germany after his role as CEO of Lumesse Ltd. in the UK. Mr. Volk has served as executive officer and on the boards of numerous companies across Europe and the United States. Currently, Mr. Volk serves as a director of CCS Connect (Netherlands) and Polecat Group (Ireland). Mr. Volk holds a Master’s degree in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany and graduated from the Young Manager’s Programme at INSEAD in France.
Nathan Chan is an independent Director. Mr. Chan has been practicing corporate-commercial law for over twenty-three years. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario (B.A. (Economics) and LL.B) and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1998. Nathan is involved in all aspects of the businesses of his many high technology clients (renewable energy, managed services, software development, VARS, etc.). Mr. Chan also sits on the board of directors of several of his international clients, including insurance companies and luxury retailers. Mr. Chan is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association. Mr. Chan is also the founder and President of Skatescribe Corporation, a company utilizing CNC machining technology for skate sharpening, providing service to competitive hockey players including those in the NHL and OHL.
Ralph Garcea is an independent Director and Chair of Compensation Committee. Mr. Garcea has been a top-ranked research analyst, well regarded for his knowledge of Canadian technology, gaming and industrial companies, having received top three rankings in the past from Brendan Woods, Greenwich, Starmine, and Thomson Reuters surveys. Mr. Garcea has more than 24 years of experience in senior positions at both major and boutique investment dealers in Canada. He is the current managing partner and co-founder of Focus Merchant Company, a boutique advisory firm offering a full range of financial advisory services including strategy, mergers and acquisitions, private placements, RTO/IPO advice, valuations, fairness opinions and board of director selections. Mr. Garcea holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Engineering Science (Aerospace) from the University of Toronto, and an M.B.A. (Honours) from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
Darlene Kelly is an independent Director and Chair of Audit Committee. Ms. Kelly has extensive experience in the IT industry. For 20 years, Ms. Kelly was Chief Operating Officer at TeraMach Technologies from its early years, through growth and geographical expansion, to its sale to Pivot Technology Solutions in 2016, and subsequent integration. In 2019, Ms. Kelly launched a coaching and advisory practice supporting corporate leaders and entrepreneurs. Ms. Kelly is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants of Ontario. Ms. Kelly is an internationally certified leadership coach and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. Ms. Kelly holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Commerce from the University of Ottawa.
Brian Phillips is an independent Director and Chair of Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. Mr. Phillips was in the financial services industry for thirty years, the last 15 as a partner at Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management (“PHN”) until its acquisition by the Royal Bank of Canada in 2008. Prior to PHN he was a Vice President with various security dealers, including Pemberton Securities, until acquired by RBC Dominion Securities in 1989. Mr. Phillips holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business.
Dr. Toni Rinow is a transformational finance and business leader with over 20 years of experience and a proven track record in international corporate development. Dr. Rinow specializes in guiding companies through inflection points of growth, innovation, technology convergence and business integration. She is a catalyst for growth and expansion and is well known for accelerating revenue streams through acquisitions, corporate development, sales and marketing, and financings. Dr. Rinow transforms data into actionable strategies and most recently served in a NASDAQ traded company raising over $160 million in capital expansion financing and executed on acquisitions securing a Morgan Stanley capital-backed portfolio.
Dr. Rinow led healthcare organizations as General Manager at global nuclear medicine leader Jubilant Draximage Inc and as Chief Operating Officer at Isologic Innovative Radiopharmaceuticals. Her professional career includes leadership roles in both public and private pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations, where she spearheaded acquisitions across Canada, Latin America, Europe, India and USA. Dr. Rinow has successfully facilitated the negotiation of international corporate alliances valued over $100M and overseen an investment portfolio with $400M under management.
Dr. Rinow holds an MBA and a Masters in Accounting from McGill University, as well as a chemical engineering degree from ERASMUS European Higher Institute of Chemistry in Strasbourg, France and a PhD in Biophysics and Chemistry from the University of Montreal. She is also trained in artificial intelligence at MIT Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Rinow believes in giving back to the community and sat on the Board of Directors in several non-for-profit organizations.
