Shaun Maine is the Chief Executive Officer of Converge Technology Solutions. As CEO of Converge, Shaun is responsible for leading overall vision, strategy, and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to his role as CEO, Shaun was the COO of Pivot Technology Solutions (“Pivot”), a US $1.5 billion revenue value-added reseller listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, and was part of the founding group that acquired and integrated five value-added resellers. Shaun is a graduate of Queens University and has been named one of Channel Daily News’ Top 5 Newsmakers of 2019.
Greg Berard is President of Converge and responsible for leading the organization’s sales, marketing, and engineering teams across North America. His focus areas include helping teams cross-sell and driving growth & strategy with sales and technical leaders around Converge’s core solution areas. Greg’s experience in analytics, cloud, and security is essential as Converge continues to deepen our value and thought leadership with clients and strategic partners. Previously serving as President of Lighthouse Computer Services, Greg helped substantially grow the business by increasing its capabilities in core technical disciplines and broadening its reach into new expertise. Prior to his tenure at Converge, Greg spent over a decade as a software executive with IBM in a number of positions across the globe. An avid ice hockey fan, Greg played and captained his team at the collegiate level, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College in Wellesley, MA.
Cory Reid is Chief Operations Officer at Converge Technology Solutions and globally responsible for delivering oversight and overall post-acquisition integration of newly acquired Converge businesses. This includes the coordination of communications, synergies, technologies, sales operations, and back office. Cory is also responsible for planning and consolidating Finance, HR, IT, and Operations on a regional support basis across the North American footprint of hybrid IT services providers. With extensive experience in the technology sector, Cory has a deep breadth of knowledge and skill that includes diverse roles such as co-founder of a web startup, Fortune 100 software architect, and C-suite executive at a $2 billion technology services organization. Cory earned his Bachelor of Computer Science from Dalhousie University.
Carl Smith is Chief Financial Officer at Converge and has more than 20 years of experience in finance and executive leadership positions in public and private technology companies. Most recently, he held the position of CFO at Espial Group, a publicly traded company on the TSX that was acquired by a leading Canadian based software company. Carl has a strong knowledge of capital markets, investor relations, and business operations. He has also led multiple acquisitions, debt, and equity financings. Carl is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor.
Mr. McMillan has been an entrepreneur in the Canadian financial services industry since 1994. Currently, Mr. McMillan serves as a director of Flow Capital Corp. and Quisitive Technology Solutions Inc., both of which are listed on the TSXV.
Tommy Whatley has 25+ years’ experience in delivering technology services and technical presales alignment. With in-depth knowledge of the technology industry and extensive partner networks, Tommy focuses on leading services, building vendor alliance relationships, supporting merger & acquisition efforts and driving strategy. Prior to joining Converge, Tommy served as the Vice President for Professional Services at Pivot.
Don Cuthbertson is Chief Technology Officer & President of Converge Technology Solutions, Canada. Before joining Converge, Don served as Chief Data Officer at Pivot Technology Solutions, where he led the organization’s diligence team on acquisitions and implementation of the business’ integration plans. Don was additionally responsible for outlining urgent value-creation opportunities, identifying key value drivers, and creating roadmaps to improvements. Don earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University.
Cari Hash serves as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Converge. A highly experienced sales and technology leader, Cari is responsible for aligning the sales organization’s objectives with Converge’s business strategy and leading the way to build and maintain strong client relationships. She excels in solution selling, vendor management, strategic execution, and professional services. Cari has 20+ years’ experience in IT. She previously served as President of MDSi and in the US Army as a Military Intelligence Linguist (Airborne). She is a WIT Executive Readiness Graduate and member of the National Association of Professional Women.
Vanita manages and leads Converge’s IBM Sales and partnership. Before joining Converge, Vanita spent over 23 years with IBM in various leadership roles that included VP of Sales. A driven business executive, Vanita has built a reputation for consistently delivering solid results. She attributes this to her targeted leadership and accelerated development expertise, including a keen focus on delivering organizational design and transformation. She has deep experience in building new ecosystem business models and driving mutual growth in existing partnerships. Vanita graduated from the University of Delaware and holds certifications from Harvard Business School.
As Vice President of Human Resources, Rhonda Hanes is responsible for directing and supporting all HR initiatives and administration for all Converge employees. Rhonda oversees employee activities and leads HR practices that provide an employee-oriented culture emphasizing teamwork, communication, and growth. Rhonda is also responsible for the recruitment and ongoing development of a healthy and empowered workforce. Over the past ten years she has also helped to create the Leadership Development Program for Corus360 (Emerge360), GRIT (Girls Rule IT), and Toastmasters programs.
Executive Management Team
As a dedicated and driven marketing leader, Karie focuses on delivering brand vision, digital communication strategies, and marketing operations. She fulfills this is by envisioning, packaging, and presenting innovative ideas via a web-first publishing approach to execute on integrated marketing campaigns. Prior to Converge, Karie held various marketing leadership roles within the IT industry where her responsibilities included marketing management, branding & awareness, sales enablement, business & event planning, and building relationships with partners and customers.
With 30 years’ technology experience focused on driving revenue for new solutions in both direct and indirect sales models, Rochelle successfully leads Converge’s AWS partnership as VP of Public Cloud. She also serves as Director of Services, Business Development for BlueChipTek. Rochelle has a proven track record of delivering exponential growth in the first two years of developing new lines of business. She previously served as VP of Sales, Global Accounts at CBTS/OnX Enterprise Solutions, where she built a successful revenue stream derived from professional and re-occurring services through the adoption of emerging technologies for a Fortune 100 Financial Services company.
As VP of Hybrid Cloud for Converge, Andrew is responsible for leading Converge’s Hybrid Cloud and DevOps practice. This encompasses business development, marketing, sales execution, project delivery, and building strategic partnerships, including Red Hat. Andrew leads a team of sellers and engineers focused on helping clients adopt a hybrid multi-cloud approach. He also directs teams to manage applications and resources across mixed environments to enable greater flexibility, automation, and application modernization. Andrew has 10+ years’ experience in the technology sector, with many years spent with IBM and Lighthouse Computer Services in various sales and leadership positions.
David serves as President of the Northeast Region for Converge. In this regionally focused position, David executes Converge’s sales, marketing, and delivery strategy across the northeast portion of North America. He is responsible for the growth of Converge’s IBM and HCL Software business and oversees the Advanced Analytics and Cybersecurity practices. David also continues to be responsible for the sales and professional services teams at Essextec. David holds his BS from the Engineering school at Cornell University and his MBA in Finance from Baruch College.
John Flores is Executive Vice President of Converge and is responsible for leading various strategic initiatives for the organization, including the development of a channel strategy for Converge’s private cloud practice, the identification of acquisition targets, and outreach efforts with capital markets & investor bases. With extensive background as a sales and marketing executive, John has a wealth of experience working in broad, cross-functional roles in high tech. He has led global go-to-market organizations serving small to enterprise level businesses and has held various roles ranging from sales operations, to acquisitions, to alliances & channel development. Prior to joining Converge in 2018, John served as Vice President of Marketing & Strategic Alliances at Pivot Technology Solutions, where he focused on building and executing the company’s go-to-market strategy and overseeing growth through optimization of asset structures and streamlined operations. John has also served in sales and marketing roles with IBM and Sirius Computer Solutions. He holds his Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Mary’s University and has completed Executive Leadership Programs at Harvard University and Emory University School of Medicine.
Pierre comes from a technical and solution engineering background. For many years, he’s been part of HP Enterprise System’s team where he was responsible for the distribution of HP-UX’s mission-critical systems. Pierre always wanted to create an organization that is unique and make a difference for customers. As co-president of PCD, Pierre has always been very proactive in business development, marketing, public relations and the development of its professional services practices.
Carl has been Co-President of PCD Solutions for the last 23 years. He and his partner Pierre Cayouette originally founded PCD Solutions. They participated in each phase of PCD’s growth since its very first integration projects at the time of UNIX mission-critical systems. Today, PCD Solutions is one of VMware’s most prestigious partners in Canada for Hybrid and Multi-Cloud projects. Carl was directly involved in sales management, evolution of the company’s go-to-market strategy and financial controls.
Mr. Dentel focuses on delivering the perfect solutions to customers through educated and enabled associates. With over 30 years of technology industry expertise, he has successfully reinvented Nordisk to shift with each new industry direction. A passion for achieving excellent results efficiently, effectively and with the right company culture.
Ms. Geis founded BlueChipTek, Inc. in 2002 and is deeply invested in the products BlueChipTek sells and the types of clients the company serves due to BlueChipTek’s ability to help companies provide the same flexibility to their employees and customers.
Mr. Hinkle has 30 years of experience in the financial industry, primarily in IT and Telecom. He has specialized in Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting, Cash Management, as well as various forms of Venture Capital Partners and Investor Relationship Management. He is a member of the Converge Technology Solutions, Corp. acquisition team.
Bruce has over 25 years of experience in operations, marketing, and selling technical solutions to the public sector. He possesses a deep understanding of public sector contracting in the areas of hardware, managed services, software, and professional services.
Robert L. Jernoske, Jr. has 30 years of industry experience, 18 at VSS. CEO since 2016, Mr. Jernoske has focused the organization’s initiatives on bringing the most sustainable technologies to its customers to help them achieve and exceed their business initiatives, while concurrently implementing innovative strategies to accelerate them to the forefront of their industries. VSS’s key focus areas are Managed Services, Technology Solutions, IT Portfolio Management, and Consulting Services.
Emily is passionate about helping customers leverage technology to solve complex problems. Over 18 years she has built her career at Northern Micro (NM). Taking on the Sales and Technology strategy in 2013, Emily evolved and grew NM’s end-user led business into an edge, to core to cloud Hybrid IT practice. Promoted to President in 2019, she continues to focus on making innovative technologies work for our customers. Outside of her role at NM Emily is an active member of a numerous partner advisory boards.
Under his leadership, SIS has become a nationally recognized company, received numerous business awards, and consistently earned Best Place to Work Kentucky. Outside of his job, Steve has served on multiple IBM Solution Provider Advisory Boards and the Shriners Hospital Corporate Council and is a member of the Bluegrass Workforce Innovation Board.
Andy founded Unique Digital in 1986 as Telex tape drive sales and service organization. When Telex closed UDI became the largest repair facility for all of the Telex Oem’s. The company grew its storage business and started building raid systems. Soon UDI was a complete solution provider. UDI became a large supplier of raid systems from LSI Logic and then became an EMC partner in 2003. As a complete solution provider, it was an easy transition to become a Dell Technologies Titanium Partner. Unique Digital provides solutions to many large organizations both in the public sector and in the enterprise space.
Carol Schreiber-Stern founded Workgroup Connections, Inc. (WGC) in 1993 by blending 10 years of corporate management experience in the finance and banking industry with technical and information systems expertise. The result has been a successful, highly technical consulting firm that caters to the needs of business professionals for companies of all sizes. In WGC’s early years, Carol held both technical and management responsibilities. Over time she shifted her responsibilities exclusively to management, focusing on business development and sales. Over the past 25 years, Ms. Stern has served on numerous advisory councils for IBM and Ingram Micro.
Robert Verola is a 30+ year veteran of the IT industry. He graduated from St John’s University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, minor in economics and an MBA in Finance. He started his career in the Information Technology industry at Burroughs for 2 ½ years which he was named new account executive for the 2 years running. He then was recruited by his former boss to Wang Labs to open a strategic account which he did and then managed for 5 years and turned it into one of Wang’s largest accounts.
After leaving Wang, he started Vicom along with his brother Vic as a leasing company for a number of years and transformed it to an IT solution provider through his strategy and long-term vision. Robert is CEO of the organization. Robert lives on the North Shore of Long Island with his wife Geri. He has 4 children: Michael and triplets Steven, Ryan & Kristie and a granddaughter Lily. Michael & Steven all work at Vicom, his son Ryan works in the IT industry and his daughter Kristie works in the digital Media industry. Robert also enjoys traveling, skiing, tennis, exotic cars and car racing.
Rory has over 30 years of IT experience spanning product development, delivery, and sales in front line and executive leadership roles giving him a very diverse perspective. His experience also spans a variety of verticals in both the public and private sectors. Customer experience and win/win outcomes are a key focus for Rory in every engagement.
Vic Verola is a 25-plus year veteran of the Information Technology industry. Vic graduated from Hofstra University with a major in management and a minor in economics. Throughout his career Vic has worked in various positions in IT engineering and sales. In 2003, Vic was promoted to director of sales at Vicom and 3 years later rose to Vice President of Sales leading Vicom to unprecedented growth levels. In 2013, Vic became a partner in Vicom Computer Services and as the Executive Vice President of the firm was responsible for the entire customer facing operation including Sales, Engineering, Support and Professional Services. In 2016, Vic was named President of Vicom and continues to lead the transformation of Vicom into one of the most progressive solution providers in the Northeast. Vic lives on Long Island with his wife Lupita and three children Danielle, Vic Jr. and Tony. His interests include photography, hockey and technology. Vic also chairs the board of directors at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island, one of the largest and most effective mentoring organizations on Long Island.
Chris Courim cofounded CarpeDatum with a vision to streamline planning and analytics. His unique blend of financial, managerial and technical experience enables him to rapidly understand business’ needs and deliver powerful applications that save time and effort. Chris has more than 25 years of experience architecting strategic business intelligence and business performance management solutions for companies large and small. Early in his career Chris foresaw the central role that automation would play in planning and he became an expert in preparing organizations for that future. Chris managed a team at MCI Telecommunications that developed sophisticated planning and reporting applications that integrated all aspects of the business including sales, marketing and finance.
Today CarpeDatum clients benefit from his expertise in making analytics effortless for every department in any industry. Under Chris’ guidance, CarpeDatum has created IBM TM1 solutions in a variety of industries including manufacturing, government, retail, education and software. Chris is a speaker at numerous conferences on business intelligence and financial forecasting. He holds a Master of Finance degree from the University of Denver and is a Certified Microsoft Professional with a specialization in Business Intelligence.
With over 20 years of experience in the performance management space with tenure at Business Objects (now Oracle) and Cognos (now IBM), John founded Draca Solutions and lead the growth and eventual merging with CarpeDatum. John’s passion is to help customers to pursue excellence through analytics and work through the technical and cultural challenges that often block the way. Splitting his time between Dallas and San Diego, John enjoys Water Polo, Ultrarunning and spending time with his adult children in his free time.

Currently, he’s the managing partner and co-founder of Focus Merchant Group, a boutique advisory firm offering a full-range of financial advisory services. Additionally, he was a top-ranked research analyst specializing in technology, gaming, and industrial companies.
Brian Phillips, a Director at Converge Technology Solutions, has been in the financial services industry for 30 years. He has spent 19 of these years as a Partner at Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management (PHN), one of Canada’s most respected institutional investment services organizations. Brian continues to serve in his role as Partner at PHN, which was acquired by RBC in 2008.
